Biographical Sketch
Charles Thomas Reid, known throughout life as Tom, was born on 23 October, 1901 in Middlesboro, Bell, Kentucky, United States. He was the son of Charles Marshall Reid and Anna Lee Kelley,1 the second of five children born to the couple.
At the age of 20, Tom married Mildred Linville, on 2 July 1921 at her home, located at 114 East Broadway St. in San Gabriel, California.3 4 She was 19 at the time. Tom and Mildred had six children together.
Charles Thomas Reid died on 20 April, 1981 at the age of 79 in Tuscon, Pima, Arizona.4
